Program for Strategic Research and Studies

Opportunities

Every semester, the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Program for Strategic Research and Studies, offers a limited number of opportunities for students who seek to enhance their ability to conduct research, facilitate public events and thrive in a professional office environment. There are two types of opportunities: Internships and Fellowships.

Internships

Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Program for Strategic Research and Studies at UCF will provide an opportunity for an outstanding undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate student from the University of Central Florida to serve as a Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Intern each Fall, Spring and semester.

Interns will participate in research projects, coordination of events and other office-related activities. Students are eligible to receive course credit for these internships. The average weekly time commitment for students earning credit is 12-15 hours. Internships are offered for UCF’s Fall and Spring  semesters.

Fellowships

The Global Perspectives Office, the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Program for Strategic Research and Studies at UCF along with the Global Connections Foundation will provide an opportunity for an outstanding undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate student from the University of Central Florida to serve as a Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Fellow each Fall and Spring semester.

The selected student will work on a research project related to the United States-Saudi Arabia relationship, under the direction of Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Program for Strategic research and Studies staff and scholars, with the aim of producing a final paper that is worthy of publication. In addition, Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Fellows will contribute to the activities of the Global Perspectives Office and affiliated programs.
