Charlene’s Resume

Charlene Kormondy is a senior majoring in Environmental Studies Values, Planning, and Policy Concentration. She has presented to UNESCO regarding climate change adaptation and sustainability. She is a member of UCF’s Unifying Theme Team, which works on UCF’s campus to promote an interdisciplinary approach to solving the world’s environmental problems. She volunteers with the Honors Educational Reach Out program as a Green HERO, working on various green projects in the Orlando community. As a member of the Political Ecology Lab at UCF, Charlene has been assisting Dr. Peter Jacques with his research on climate change skepticism.

On 3/20/13, Charlene was notified that she was elected to the UCF Presidential Leadership Council, a competitive award for elite UCF students.

On 2/5/14, Charlene was notified that she had earned UCF’s top scholar designation, the Order of the Pegasus.
