Cheyenne Canon graduated from UCF in December, 2013 with a B.S. in Environmental Studies and minors in Political Science and Sociology. Cheyenne has previously volunteered with the E3 Project, a program that introduces high school students to sustainable issues, as an instructor in a hands-on learning environment. She has also been involved in independent research on marine turtles that was presented at UCF’s Showcase of Undergraduate Research. Her most recent research involved the history of pencils which lead to their current production and distribution. Her career goals are to go into environmental policy creation and to work with businesses, the public, and the government on understanding environmental issues.
