Greg’s Resume

Greg will be spending Fall 2013 interning for the Water Center for the Humid Tropics of Latin America and The Caribbean (CATHALAC) in Panama.

Greg Norris is a senior at the University of Central Florida majoring in Environmental Studies with a concentration in science. Greg worked with U.C.F.’s Marine Turtle Research Group for two years with Dr. Llewellyn Ehrhart on the shores of Melbourne, Florida measuring the nesting and reproductive success of nesting sea turtles. He also worked with Dr. Peter Pritchard for two years at The Chelonian Research Institute where he did a research project on preserved specimens of Madagascar’s extant tortoises. In addition to conducting research in the Political Ecology Lab, he is currently interning with U.C.F.’s Landscape and Natural Resources Department. Greg’s interests in the lab lie in environmental sustainability, sustainable business development, natural resource management, and fisheries management. Over the course of the next few months he will be preparing for a position in Panama working with the United Nations Environmental Program that will begin later in 2013.
