Political Psychology: Applications for Security Studies

The IC CAE is proud to welcome two international scholars to a colloquium this Tuesday, August 8, at 1:30PM entitled “Political Psychology Applications for Security Studies.” All faculty and students are invited to learn more about this growing field of research. Our guests are:

  • Julie Kaarbo, Co-Director of the Centre for Security Research at the University of Edinburgh
    presenting “Changes in Leadership Style Across Time:  The Curious Case of Erdogan”
  •  Ryan Beasley, Senior Lecturer with the School of International Relations at the University of St Andrews
    presenting “Psychological Consistency in Political Leaders: Risk, Meaning, and International Security”

The presentations will take place in Howard Phillips Hall room 409A, to be followed by a reception with light refreshments. We hope to see you there!
