Biography

Dr. Edwards is a Lecturer in the School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs.  He received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University, a J.D. from New York University School of Law, and a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia.  Dr. Edwards practiced law for a boutique litigation firm in his hometown of Atlanta before attending graduate school.

Research Areas

Dr. Edwards has broad research interests in the fields of American politics, public law, and research methodology.  His research has been published (or is forthcoming) in American Politics Research, Congress & the Presidency, Election Law Journal, Georgia Bar Journal, Harvard Negotiation Law Review, Judicature, and Public Management Review.  Dr. Edwards teaches Constitutional Law I and II, Judicial Process and Politics, and Introduction to Research Methods.
