Marcos Degaut, Deputy Special Secretary of Strategic Affairs, has a Ph.D. in Security Studies (2016), from the University of Central Florida. He holds a Master´s degree in International Relations (University of Brasilia, 1999), a Bachelor´s degree in Law (Centro Universitário do Distrito Federal – UDF, 2006), and a Bachelor´s degree in International Relations (Centro Universitário de Brasília – UniCEUB, 1992). Additionally, he holds a Specialization course in Intelligence (National School of Intelligence of the Presidency of the Republic, 1995) and a Specialization Course in International Political Economy (University of Brasilia, 1996).
