All SPSIA majors (Political Science BA and International & Global Studies BA) require the completion of the SPSIA Exit Exam and Exit Survey to graduate.<\/p>\n
In previous terms, students were required to register for the non-credit course POS 4961 to complete the SPSIA Exit Exam and Exit Survey. Beginning Fall 2026, students will no longer need to register for POS 4961. The course is being discontinued and will no longer appear as a registration option. Instead, students who have submitted an Intent to Graduate (ITG) will automatically receive an invitation to enroll in the SPSIA Exit Exam Canvas course after the ITG deadline closes. So, beginning in Fall 2026, students do not need to register for an Exit Course, but they must accept the invitation to the SPSIA Exit Exam Canvas course and complete both the Exit Survey and Exit Exam in order to satisfy graduation requirements. This requirement must be completed in order to graduate.<\/div>\n
