The <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">National Association of Colleges and Employers <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(NACE) defines career readiness as <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cthe attainment and demonstration of requisite competencies that broadly prepare college graduates for a successful transition into the workplace.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u201cReady, Set, Work\u201d Challenge:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In January 2016, Governor Rick Scott <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flgov.com\/2015\/12\/02\/governor-rick-scott-issues-ready-set-work-university-challenge\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">challenged<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Florida universities to reach 100% employment of graduates in their two largest majors, within one year of graduation. At University of Central Florida (UCF), <\/span><b>Psychology<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is the largest major, and we are rising to the challenge.
