A recent <a href=\"https:\/\/sciencescosmaincms.cm.ucf.edu\/psychology\/crs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/33\/2018\/08\/Psyc-bull-article-on-job-search-interventions.pdf\">meta-analysis<\/a> of 47 job search interventions concluded that &#8220;the odds of obtaining employment were 2.67 times higher for job seekers who had participated in a job search intervention&#8221; compared to those who had not participated (Lin, Huang, &amp; Wang, 2014).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>UCF Psychology majors have seen similar benefits to those described in this research. After working with <strong>Career Readiness Solution (CRS)<\/strong>, UCF Psychology majors have reported high satisfaction ratings and positive outcomes. The combination of our realistic exercises and virtual environment allow our assesses to participate in a well-rounded hands-on experience, benefiting\u00a0them in their future job search endeavors.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">\u201cCaree<strong>r Readiness Solution helped to prepare me for my employment search after graduation.\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img benefiting both the University of Central Florida and our local Orlando business market. CRS provides our majors with the opportunity to work on their resumes and cover letters, and to practice the steps of sending these deliverables to hiring authorities. Undergraduate students participate remotely from any location. Thus, CRS is able to meet the needs of all our assesses including assesses who are exclusively online and geographically remote. This parallels the increasing use of technology by organizations throughout the hiring process.
