At the end of each session of our <em>Reducing Misinformation &amp; Exploitation<\/em> and <em>Deciding Brains<\/em> studies, we collect feedback so that we may continue to improve and optimize the participant experience.<\/p>\n<p>Below are some of the responses we received from our Fall 2025 participants!<\/p>\n<p><em>Appreciation for our <strong>research staff<\/strong>:\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>&#8220;Something new to experience, nice people, great environment, exciting insight and thought provoking questions. \u00a0It was a wonderful opportunity!\u00a0 It is fun to try something new, thank you for allowing me to participate in this adventure. Everything was amazing. Happy Dance!!!!&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Very comfortable atmosphere, very kind proctor! Setup was great, snacks provided! This was a great day. I truly believe in helping out seniors, especially because I&#8217;m one who has fallen for a scam!\u00a0 The researcher was very friendly and professional. Made sure directions were clear. Give her a raise!&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Very nice staff to greet you and guide you through the process. Comfortable environment, nice snacks. The study was rather interesting at times. Invite me again to do more! Thank you for the opportunity!\u00a0 :)&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Researchers were very helpful in ensuring I will be comfortable during the study. I had frequent rest periods and snacks were available at my reach and drinks as well. The questions were at times challenging and I really learned a lot about my reactions to certain questions. It was an amazing experience.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;The environment, it was very friendly and peaceful. The staff were very encouraging and friendly. Would enjoy doing this again.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;The researcher was a great host and administrator!! Thank you for allowing me to participate!&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;This session was great, the presenter was very patient with me. great attitude.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>They also appreciate the\u00a0<b>impact<\/b>\u00a0our studies have:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>&#8220;Made me aware of the threats facing older adults in the United States. This is my second session and was able to see how much more distrustful I have become this past year about social media, email and other media including television. This study will help older adults become more ware about the dangers of social media and AI and hope the results motivates federal, states and local government to implement regulation design to protect vulnerable groups.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Exposure to many different types of questioning, and reminders of what I need to be alert to.\u00a0 It was good to have the assistance of the persons in the lab, very friendly, helpful and organized. It was a pleasure to meet the test administrators and to work with them&#8230;thank you.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;I am very glad that this matter about protecting the elderly is being researched.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Glad you are doing the study.\u00a0 It will now make me think a little more in general.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;It has been interesting to participate.
