This year marked the tenth anniversary of the conference, which brings together researchers working in cognition from several universities and institutions across the state for an annual meeting. The focus of FCNC 2026 was <em><a href=\"https:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/63ed34a1f10089454359b753\/t\/69fa7bc94d2cf53566eea79a\/1778023369874\/FCNC2026_Program.pdf\">Multiple Scales of Mental Health: From Circuits to Cognition<\/a><\/em>. Topics of discussion covered broad cognitive domains in mental health, ranging from preclinical to translational research with both animal models and human subjects.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Lighthall, who serves on the Executive Committee for FCNC, co-led the panel on <em>Training Grants: Strategies for Success<\/em> at this year&#8217;s conference. Members of the ADDL presented recent findings from the Reducing Misinformation and Exploitation in Alzheimer\u2019s Disease (FDOH 22A10) and Deciding Brains (NIH R01-AG072658) studies, as well as results from Dr. Shayna Soares&#8217; fNIRS studies.
