Hanya Irfan is a research assistant for the OLDeR Lab. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Sciences in Health Sciences with the intention of obtaining further education and working in the healthcare field to improve disparities of access and health promotion. Her research interests include investigating the psychobiological basis of behavior, mood disorders, and aging.
During her time as an undergraduate student, she was involved in the Honors in the Major program where she completed her thesis studying risky health behavior in enrolled students: Associations Between Shame and Guilt, Self-Esteem, and Health Risk Behavior Among Undergraduate Students.
