Manuel is a fifth-year graduate student in the OLDeR Lab. Manuel earned his Associates degree from Miami Dade College in 2011 and finished his Bachelors in Psychology in Stanford University in 2013. Furthermore, he obtained a Master of Science at the University of Central Florida in 2017. His research interests include the relationship between cognitive functions and depressive symptomatology among older adults. He is also interested in caregiver preparedness and mental health in non-English speaking populations. In a not so distant future, Manuel looks forward to an academic career in which he can continue his research while teaching psychology to college students.
