Cory received his bachelor’s degree from UCF in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Sciences. He worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the OLDeR Lab as well as a teaching assistant for several different professors at the university. Cory was also involved in UCF’s Honor in the Major Program, in which he completed his undergraduate thesis.
Outside of school and research, Cory has worked as a Psychiatric Assistant at a local behavioral health hospital. He has experience in treatment of adults with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Cory has planned to pursue a graduate program to reach his goal of a licensed mental health counselor, as well as furthering his personal research.
