The UCF Psychology Clinic aims to promote mental health and well-being by providing affordable, culturally informed and evidence-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in Central Florida.
We provide treatment for a number of common concerns such as depression, anxiety and panic, excessive worry, posttraumatic stress, anger management, coping with stress, child behavioral and emotional problems, and parenting concerns.
The UCF Psychology Clinic is the primary training site for doctoral-level clinical psychology graduate students in the competent, ethical, and culturally sensitive practice of evidence-based psychological services. Clinicians are closely supervised by clinical psychology faculty members that are licensed psychologists and experts in their areas of study. We do not take insurance at this time, and an income-based sliding scale is used to determine the fee for services.
Many of our faculty conduct research that contributes to the field of applied psychology in areas as diverse as combat related PTSD, child behavioral problems and parenting, schizophrenia, caregivers of persons with dementia, substance abuse and attention deficit disorder in school age boys. You can learn more about our current general and specialty services on these pages.
