Resilience Lab Home

The Resilience Lab explores how individuals and teams sustain well-being and effectiveness in organizational contexts characterized by complexity, uncertainty, and disruption. We contribute theoretical, empirical, and practical advancements in the study of resilience by addressing two key questions: (1) What is resilience, and how do we best study it? and (2) How do we enhance resilience across settings? Our work supports employee health and well-being, especially for occupations that are critical to supporting the health and well-being of us all.

Two women in business attire stand in front of a research poster titled "Effects of Visual Nature Breaks on Employee Productivity" at a conference or academic event.

We’re so proud of our undergraduate research assistants, Madison and Eleena, for presenting research on virtual nature breaks at the 2026 Florida Undergraduate Research Conference. They took the initiative to work on this project during their very first semester at UCF, creating a new measure of objective work performance for the study. Congratulations to Madison and Eleena for completing their very first research poster presentations!
