Mindy Shoss<\/strong>, Ph.D.,\u202fis a Professor of Psychology at the University of Central Florida. Her research covers job\u202finsecurity, precarious work, AI and robotics integration into the workplace, and worker well-being and adaptation. Recognized as a UCF Luminary Professor and a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Dr. Shoss has published over 100 research articles and\u202fbook chapters and co-edited\u202fThe Cambridge Handbook of the Changing Nature of Work<\/em>. Her research has contributed to conversations about worker well-being and the future of work across a variety of outlets including the National Safety Council, the American Psychological Association, DataCamp, the National Academies of Sciences Board of Human Systems Integration, IBM\u2019s Tech for Justice series, Harvard Business Review, and various news outlets.  Dr. Shoss serves as Associate Editor of the\u202fJournal of Applied Psychology<\/em>\u202fand is a member of the American Psychological Association\u2019s Future of Work Advisory Group. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Alberly Perez<\/strong> is a UCF I\/O Psychology Ph.D. student. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from La Salle University and an M.A. in Psychological Science from Rutgers University. Her research interests focus on employee well-being, including occupational stress, coping with uncertainty, and the role of technology in the workplace.\u00a0Outside of school, Alberly enjoys hiking, cycling, visiting the beach, and trying new restaurants.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Adam Jacobs<\/strong> is a UCF I\/O Psychology PhD student. He earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Towson University, and an M.S. in I\/O Psychology from UCF. His research interests focus on worker well-being, working with service robots\/automation\/AI, and extra-role behaviors in the workplace. Adam’s thesis examines working with service robots, organizational citizenship behaviors, and the role of empathy.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Rujuta Parekar<\/strong> is a UCF I\/O Psychology PhD student. She earned a B.S. in Psychology from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Her research interests focus on the future of work and the impacts of technology (such as AI) on worker productivity, job satisfaction, and other work-related outcomes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Hannah Crandell<\/strong> is a UCF I\/O Psychology PhD student. She earned a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Writing & Rhetoric Studies from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Her research interests focus on occupational health and well-being, technology in the workplace, and vulnerable workers. Hannah’s thesis examines the role of fringe benefits in the recruitment of deskless workers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Kate Otto<\/strong> is a UCF I\/O Psychology Masters student. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from University of Kansas. Her research interests focus on employee stress and well-being, organizational culture, and engagement and motivation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ady Cohen<\/strong> is a UCF I\/O Psychology Ph.D. student. She earned a B.A. in Psychology & Forensic Science from Syracuse University and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UCF. Her research interests focus on emotional labor, and the relationship between job insecurity and workplace belonging. Outside of school, Ady likes to build her own gaming computers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Carter Bundy <\/strong>is a first year UCF undergraduate pursuing a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Linguistics. He aspires to attain a Masters in Psychology. His research interests include the human mind and language. In his free time, Carter likes to study the origins and quirks of words and languages.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Eleena Lin <\/strong>is a first year UCF undergraduate pursuing a B.S. in Psychology on the I\/O track.
