See below for more details.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hello UCF Faculty Researchers,<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">This is a friendly reminder about the Office of Research\u2019s Grant Writing Academy which is being offered in the Fall semester.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The program\u2019s intent is to help participants craft compelling multidisciplinary research proposals to secure external federal funding. Participants are expected to be familiar with funding agencies, grant writing mechanisms, and could also have prior proposal writing experience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The hands-on, interactive program will offer proposal development, mentoring, and engagement activities to faculty researchers through 15 two-hour in-person weekly sessions held on the main UCF campus starting in August 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong><u>Important Information:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li>Applications are being accepted in the <a href=\"https:\/\/nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fucf.infoready4.com%2F%23freeformCompetitionDetail%2F1964893&amp;data=05%7C02%7Cjosh%40ucf.edu%7Cc86813e6df4a4028a4d608dd61739de2%7Cbb932f15ef3842ba91fcf3c59d5dd1f1%7C0%7C0%7C638773871430477877%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=nJZou0isWo8qbfrFFdNOQ1elroBq%2BVLhtxbqpgWus5k%3D&amp;reserved=0\" data-outlook-id=\"279ee5a7-6e97-4263-88a6-460f195bdd98\">InfoReady<\/a> portal.<\/li>\n<li>Participation in the Academy is by self-nomination (any UCF faculty researcher can apply).\n<ul>\n<li>However, all applicants must have their applications endorsed by their Associate Dean for Research <strong><u>AND<\/u><\/strong> their Department Chair, or equivalent <strong><u>prior<\/u><\/strong> to submitting the application \u2013 the ADR or Chair does not have to do anything in the InfoReady application.
