Anne Bubriski-McKenzie is a Lecturer of Women’s and Gender Studies (WGST) and the Coordinator for the Young Women Leaders Program (YWLP). Dr. Bubriski-McKenzie holds an M.A. in Women’s Studies and a Ph.D. in Sociology. She teaches courses on women and gender in society, women’s leadership, women and race, transnational feminism, girls’ studies and research methods in WGST. Her current research projects explore young women’s leadership identities and career aspirations as well as gender, racial, and LGBTQ representations and messages in children’s books.
