Leigha\u2019s research interests include social inequalities, climate challenges, the environment, and sustainability. She is particularly interested in how environmental challenges affect vulnerable populations and in the social dimensions of building sustainable and resilient communities. Other interests include sustainable food systems, food insecurity, and the role of food in health.<\/p>\n
Leigha holds a B.A. in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Florida and an M.B.A. from the University of South Florida.
