Her work investigates the discursive production of healthcare subjects and the processes that shape health practices and healthcare engagement. Her work is published in journals such as <em>Journal of Health &amp; Social Behavior,<\/em>\u00a0<em>Gender &amp; Society<\/em>, <em>Sociology of Race &amp; Ethnicity,<\/em>\u00a0<em>Sociology of Health &amp; Illness, Journal of Human Lactation,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>The Journal of Pediatrics<\/em>.
