With a strong academic background and a dedication to student success, Dr. Vergara is committed to enhancing the undergraduate experience and guiding students on their academic and professional paths.<\/p>\n<p>Her research expertise includes community participatory research, Latin American sociology, global and social inequalities, and medical and reproductive health. She explores critical topics such as culture, language, educational access, health disparities, and mental health accessibility.<\/p>\n<p>As an educator, Dr. Vergara emphasizes aligning college experiences with NACE Career Competencies for Career Readiness, ensuring that students develop essential skills for their future careers.
