Julio\u2019s research is located at the intersection of domestic\/family\/intimate partner violence, social inequalities, and public policy. His first scholarly co-authored book is entitled, <em>Between Systems and Violence: State-Level Policy Targeting Intimate Partner Violence in Immigrant and Refugee Lives<\/em>. His works are published or forthcoming in <em>Crime &amp; Delinquency<\/em>, <em>Journal of Interpersonal Violence<\/em>, <em>Journal of Legal Research Methodology<\/em>, <em>Marquette Benefits &amp; Social Welfare Law Review<\/em>, <em>Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Criminology and Criminal Justice<\/em>, <em>Springer Encyclopedia of Domestic Violence<\/em>, <em>Stigma and Health<\/em>, and <em>Teaching Resources and Innovations Library for Sociology (TRAILS)<\/em>, <em>Theory in Action<\/em>, and <em>Violence Against Women<\/em>.
