Math Knights Program at UCF provides

  • The AMC training series for high school students who participate the AMC 10/12, AIME, and USAMO. Weekly meetings are supervised by math faculty, located in the Mathematics and Sciences building at UCF.  Schedules for meetings are between the Labor Day and the AMC 10/12 Competition Day (the beginning of November).
  • The Math Exploration Summer Institute for high school students who are interested in mathematical exploration that goes beyond the high school curriculum. It is one-week day program with hands-on activities, group work, and lectures given by math faculty at UCF.

AMC Training Sessions

  • Who can apply? High school students who are interested in participating in AMC math competitions

Math Exploration Summer Institute 

This nonresidential summer institute is designed for high school students eager to delve into mathematical topics beyond the standard curriculum. Participants attend engaging lectures designed by math faculty, tailored to help students strengthen their mathematical skills and broaden their understanding of these advanced topics.

While the primary focus of the program is academic, participants will also enjoy social activities and a panel discussion featuring undergraduate and graduate students. A key benefit of the program is the chance to connect with like-minded peers who share similar interests and talents, fostering a community of collaboration and lifelong friendships.
