We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join the CoMET team to develop advanced atomistic modeling methods and to apply them to the study of energy materials.

Research Focus Areas: Surface science, catalysis, and electrocatalysis

Qualifications: Candidates should have a strong background in the focus areas listed above, along with demonstrated experience in computational modeling and scientific programming. Experiences in molecular dynamic simulations and machine learning are expected.

Application Process: Interested applicants should email Dr. Duy Le with a CV and a brief statement of research interests. The position will remain open until filled.

Are you interested in pursuing doctoral studies in computational materials science? We are looking for motivated graduate students to join our research group at the University of Central Florida (UCF).

If you are currently a graduate student at UCF, please feel free to email Dr. Duy Le or stop by his office to learn more about ongoing research projects and opportunities to get involved.

If you are not yet admitted to UCF but are interested in computational materials research, or machine learning, we encourage you to apply to UCF’s graduate program. Be sure to mention that you are interested in joining Dr. Duy Le’s team in your application materials.

We welcome curious minds eager to explore the frontiers of energy materials through computational modeling.

Are you an undergraduate student at UCF interested in cutting-edge research? Our group is looking for curious and motivated students to join us in exploring computational materials science.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with atomistic modeling and simulation tools
  • Learn about materials for energy and sustainability
  • Gain hands-on experience in scientific computing, data analysis, and in applying AI and machine learning in efficient atomistic modeling and simulations.

Who Should Apply: Students with a strong interest or background in physics, chemistry, materials science, computer science, or machine learning are encouraged to reach out. Prior coding experience is a plus but not required.

How to Get Involved: Email Dr. Duy Le or stop by his office to learn more about current projects and how you can contribute.
