Prospective Students

Invitation letter

Selection Criteria

Advanced Placement Students recommended by their teachers may apply for any or all of the camps. A maximum of two students per high school will be invited to each camp. Students may be invited to all three camps if they apply and are selected. In the case that more than 40 students apply to one camp, selection will be based on recommendation letters and school performance. Those applicants who are not invited to the camp will still be considered for lab visits and research experience at UCF.

It is the policy of PHYSICOS, OCTET, and BIOTEC to ensure equal opportunity in all phases of the selection process. All three camps will maintain an environment for all participants that is free from prohibited discrimination and harassment based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, national origin, and protected genetic information.

Submission

Only teachers may submit on behalf of students. Students may not submit applications independently. All applications must be submitted electronically by sending the completed form to coordinator.physicos@gmail.com.
