UCF is one of Florida’s leading institutions of higher education and the second largest university in the country. The psychology department is housed in a state-of-the-art 
building located near the hart of campus, with prime access to UCF’s vast network or research partners. The psychology department provides instruction and research experience to over 3,500 undergraduate psychology majors, and is home to a number of group-breaking research labs.
Health Psychology Lab & Equipment
The lab is equipped to measure impedance cardiography, heart rate variability, electrodermal activity, respiration, skin temperature, surface electromyography, and motion, while simultaneously video recording subjects and collecting continuous recordings of their emotional reactions. Psychophysiological equipment and software is by Mindware Technologies. Stimuli are presented via EPrime software.
