Overview
The Data Science Lab in the Department of Statistics and Data Science is led by Prof. HanQin Cai. All Linux workstations in the lab are installed with statistical analysis software such as SAS, R, and Python. All students who are currently taking classes from the statistics department are welcome to use lab resources. In addition, there are graduate teaching assistants in the lab who can assist students with these programming languages. The Data Science Lab also offers free installation of SAS (Statistical Analysis System) on students’ personal computers.

If you are off-campus and need remote access to the server, you must first connect to the UCF VPN. The link below provides a detailed step-by-step guide on how to establish a connection to the UCF VPN.
Rules
- Absolutely NO eating or drinking in the lab
- DO NOT change the setting on any of the computers
- DO NOT install anything on computers unless you have permission
- All persons must leave when lab assistants have to leave
