Sam hails from the Black Hills of South Dakota and pursued his bachelor’s degree with foci in Biology and Psychology at Saint John’s University—a small liberal arts school located in Collegeville, MN. After backpacking around Europe, Sam spent three years as a child/adolescent psychiatric associate at the University of MN-Fairview Hospital. He subsequently completed a M.S. degree in Psychobiology at Florida State University, and joined the CLC-IV research team recently with aspirations of uncovering the neurobiological underpinnings of executive function deficits in children with ADHD.
