As their archeological endeavors end with the excavation season at Kerkenes, Turkey, Project Director Dr. Scott Branting and his team took the opportunity to share DATCH’s progress with faculty and students from two of Turkey’s Universities. Dr. Branting demonstrated DATCH and then encouraged people to try it. Also taking DATCH for a test drive was one of the Kerkenes Assitant Directors, and a DATCH project alumni (and current Ph.D. student at Abdullah Gül University) Ayşegül Kidik. Ms. Kidik even took the opportunity to demonstrate DATCH to her fellow students.
