Christine Swanson, currently a PhD student in Forest Conservation at UF, was selected for a NASA Future Investigators in Earth and Space Science and Technology award for her proposal entitled “Effects of Dams on Riparian Vegetation in the Amazon: Cumulative Impacts and Linkages to Hydrology.”
