The NSF-funded ESTELA project, a collaborative initiative between the University of Central Florida (UCF) and Valencia College, has developed a growing collection of isomorphic physics problem banks designed to support active learning, conceptual understanding, and student success in introductory physics courses. These resources were created to help instructors implement structured practice opportunities that reinforce core physics principles through carefully aligned problem variations.
To make these materials broadly accessible to faculty, students, and educational partners, the ESTELA physics teams developed two complementary online resources:
ESTELA Physics GitHub Repository
The ESTELA Physics GitHub repository serves as the primary downloadable archive for the project’s isomorphic problem banks. Faculty and students can directly access, download, adapt, and implement physics problem sets organized by topic area and problem type. These editable materials are intended to support classroom instruction, tutoring, supplemental instruction, exam preparation, and AI-assisted learning environments.

ESTELA Physics Problem Bank Website
To provide a more user-friendly browsing experience, the ESTELA team also created an online visual catalog of the available problem banks. The website organizes problems by physics topic and instructional category, allowing users to quickly preview the types of materials available before downloading them from the GitHub repository. This platform is especially useful for instructors exploring implementation ideas or students seeking targeted practice resources.

Together, these resources support the broader goals of the ESTELA project: expanding access to high-quality STEM learning materials, strengthening conceptual mastery in physics, and promoting inclusive teaching practices across two-year and four-year institutions.
The physics ESTELA teams from UCF and Valencia College have developed a repository of Physics problem banks, that are hosted in the ESTELA Isomorphic Problem Bank below for quick overview of the type of problems available. However, parties interested in downloading the problems directly for use can access them at the ESTELA physics GitHub
