About

We are a group of researchers from different research institutions in the US and abroad with research focus on THz Spintronics using Antiferromagnetic (AFM) Insulators. This project is supported by Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) under multidisciplinary university research initiative (MURI) grant for topic THz Electronics based on Antiferromagnets.

This project involves seven PIs from six different US universities, seven collaborators from National Labs and universities within the US and abroad, postdocs, graduate and undergraduate students. See People for more detail.

Major Project Goals

  • Fabrication and characterization of novel AFM materials

  • Spin-Charge interconversion and THz spin dynamics

  • Magnon transport and novel applications of AF materials
