Sudeepta Matha
Hi! I’m a 4th year at UCF majoring in Psychology (Neuroscience Track) and minoring in Biomedical Sciences. I am pursuing a PhD In Neuropsychology and currently doing research in the field of suicidality and neurodevelopment. Outside of UCF and studying, I love to spend time with my family and travel. Fun fact – I studied abroad in Europe over the summer and visited 10 cities!

Mariana Ortega
Hey, guys! I am a 3rd year Psychology (Clinical Track) major with a minor in Health Sciences. My future plans involve obtaining a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Some of my research interests include eating disorder pathology and etiology. Some things I love outside of psychology, would be visiting new coffee shops, reading, and going to the gym!

Alysia Furbish
I’m a sophomore in psychology on the I/O track, with minors in career and technical education, cognitive science, and human services, and I have a certificate in human resources. I have been a research assistant in 3 labs, a teaching assistant for Career Readiness 1, a psychology peer advisor, an assistant to the CSD program director, and an APA Campus Ambassador. Outside of school I have a dog, 2 cats, and 25 feral cats!

Hi! I’m a Junior majoring in Psychology on the I/O Track with a double minor in Cognitive Science & Business. I am also pursuing a certificate in Human Resources. Outside of school, I like to take my dog on walks and hang out with friends!

Abigail Echols
Hi everyone! I’m a junior in Psychology (General Track). My goal is to get a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. My main research interests are emotion regulation, attachment, and interpersonal factors in coping and recovery. When I’m not at UCF, I’m probably spending time with my family or hiking with my Australian Shepherd Charlie!

Tobey Smith
Hello! I’m a second year Psychology Major on the Clinical Track with a minor in Sociology. I plan to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology and work as a therapist and professor. In addition to Psychological Society, I’m involved at UCF as Vice President of Active Minds, LEAD Scholars Academy, and Psychology Peer Advising. Through the Honors Undergraduate Thesis program, I’m researching the relationship between social media use and mental illness identity.
