PRESIDENT

Tobey Smith

Hello! I’m a senior Psychology major on the Clinical Track with a minor in Sociology. I stay involved at UCF as President of Active Minds, Senior Peer Mentor at LEAD Scholars Academy, and a Research Assistant in the Media and Migration Lab! I’ve also served as a Psychology Peer Advisor and completed an Honors Undergraduate Thesis on mental illness identity and social media use in gen z! Outside of my studies, I love playing guitar, taking walks, and listening to podcasts. I’m so excited to meet you all and serve you as President!

Alysia Furbish

Hey everyone, I’m Alysia and I’ll be your VP this year! I was your secretary last year for anyreturning members and am excited to meet everyone this year. I’m on the I/O track here at UCF, along with my minors in Career and Technical Education and Human Services. I hope to continue onto my PhD in I/O Psychology to continue research on women’s issues in the workplace. Outside of school, I spend a lot of time reading and with my many animals.

SECRETARY

Natalia Diaz

Hello everyone! I am Natalia, your secretary for this year! I am majoring in Psychology – Neuroscience track and I am minoring in Cognitive Science. I am a research assistant and I am also working on my HUT about AI and bilingualism! I love all things neuro-cognition! In the future, I’m hoping to receive my Masters as well as a Ph.D. Aside from my studies, I love to draw, play video games, watch anime, and I love fashion. Some of my favorite pieces of media are The Last of Us, Attack on Titan, Nana, and a lot more ;) I am very excited for this year and I’m excited to meet new people in this club!

Nafisaba (Megh) Nazmul

Hey guys! I am a third-year student majoring in psychology (I-O track), minoring and statistics, and certifying in Human Resources. I am excited to see you guys in our events and become part of our community. A fun fact about me is that I have travelled to over 30 countries, lived in 7, been on the plane over 100 times.

Emily Wagner

Hi everyone! I’m a senior majoring in Psychology on the general track, with my studies and research focused on Human Factors. I’m also minoring in Cognitive Sciences and Environmental Studies. I plan to pursue graduate school,
In addition to my involvement with Psych Society this year, I will be a Lead UTA, a URA for the Transportation Research Group, and a tutor with Teach for America. I’m also working on my HUT, which examines the relationship between social media scrolling and cognition while driving. Outside of school, I enjoy watching movies, traveling, and cuddling with my kitty. I can’t wait to meet you all soon!

MARKETING DIRECTOR

Melissa Tejada

Hi everyone! I’m Melissa and I will be the marketing director this academic year. I am a senior at UCF pursuing my bachelors in psychology on the clinical track and I plan to earn my masters and become a therapist and a tattoo artist in the future. Aside from studying i enjoy collecting cd’s, hanging out with friends, & rollerskating.
I am so excited to meet everyone at future meetings and socials!
