How much are the dues?

Dues are $25 per semester or $40 for the Fall and Spring semesters. You can only pay for the Fall and Spring semesters at $40 during Fall semesters. We are not active in the Summer semester.
Please note that membership dues are non-refundable.

Who gets T-Shirts?

Graduating seniors who paid dues get a T-Shirt automatically.
Non-graduating members may pay an additional $5 to get a shirt.

When is the deadline to apply?

The deadline to turn in applications is the day of the 3rd General Body Meeting. Applications and dues may be submitted to an officer before, during, or immediately after the meeting. We reserve the right to change this date at the officers’ discretion, if this right is used we will give fair notice to all members.

You may ask any questions at any time at our Discord page.

What are the requirements to get a cord/stole?

Graduating seniors need to achieve 25 points to receive both a cord and stole

Graduation regalia is awarded to paid, active members who are seniors in their graduating semester. Cords/stoles are awarded at the discretion of the officers. In addition to being a paid member in your graduating semester:

    • You need to have a minimum of 25 points.
    • This requires you to be active in the club.

Important Note: Cords and stoles must be picked up by the assigned date or your regalia will be forfeited.

How does the point system work?

Since attending three meetings is one of the requirements to get the stole, this will give you 15 of the required 25 points. Your participation as a member is not only based on attending the meetings, but also participating and getting involved in events with UCF and other RSO’s. Point sheets are due at the end of every Fall and Spring semester. Points do not roll over into the next semester or academic year.

  • When filling out your Points Tracker sheet, please be aware future events (held after the Point Tracker sheets are due) will not be counted towards your point total.

If you are not a graduating senior, the points you obtain as an active member go toward awards and special recognition at the end of the semester but will serve no other purpose in membership. Attending meetings and events with Psych Society and participating in other events with UCF are great ways to gain experience and build your CV/resume.

How are the dues used?

The dues benefit our organization as a whole. We use membership dues for socials, events, shirts, and other ideas used later in the year.
