Our undergraduate research assistants are an important part of our lab. Below is a list of the current undergraduate students who are a part of our lab.
Head RA:
Luciana Jones is a Senior majoring in Health Sciences and minoring in psychology. She is currently researching and assisting with projects related to social presence as well as loneliness.She has presented research about antibiotic poisoning as well as information dissemination. She has been with TAL for almost 4 years. She is looking forward to attending graduate school for a masters in public health.
Assistant Head RA:
Promise Stephens is a senior majoring in psychology with the clinical track and a minor in statistics. Her current research interests include loneliness, anxiety, hope, and other aspects of mental health. She plans on attending graduate school for clinical psychology.

Kathren Pavlov is a sophomore majoring in Health Sciences and Psychology. Her current research interests include chronic illness, patient experience, depression, loneliness and other aspects of mental health.
Phuoc Thai is a second-year psychology undergraduate student at the University of Central Florida. She is interested in user research including usability and user experience. She is currently developing an Honors in The Major Thesis on user experience, social media, and mental health.
Renee Jones
Savannah Dugger is a current senior at UCF majoring in Mechanical Engineering, while supplementing interests through a minor in Psychology. With a passion for learning what makes people and technology “tick”, she hopes to pursue a future career in Human Factors, which marries her curiosities nicely.
Alexis DiBello is a senior majoring in Biomedical Sciences and minoring in psychology at the University of Central Florida. She plans on attending medical school in the future, so that she can further her passion for helping people and learning about the health care system. She is currently working on a project related to social media and health information.
