  • 2018 Graduation!
    Congrats to Jona Dajbabic and Shelly Gaynor for graduating this semester, both completed B.S. in Biology.   Jona has been working in my lab for the last year.   • Bridget joins SURC!
    Congrats to Bridget Vincent for being selected for the Student Undergraduate Research Council (SURC) at UCF. Bridget is Hoffman labs third undergraduate on the council in the last few years. Very proud of my undergraduates for promoting undergraduate research on campus.
  • Undergrads going to Grad School!
    Very proud of two of the Hoffman lab undergraduates who both will be starting graduate schools in Fall 2o18! Brittany will be starting an M.S. in Biology at UCF with the De Bekker lab. Shelly will be starting a Ph.D. in Botany at the University of Florida with Drs. Pam and Doug Soltis.
  • SURE 2018!
    Two Hoffman Lab undergraduates, Shelly Gaynor and Bridget Vincent, presented at UCF’s Showcase for Undergraduate Research this year. Shelly even won Life Science Judges’ Choice for her project!   Shelly presented her project on smooth cordgrass restoration genetics.   Bridget presented her work on Croaker population genetics. I had a good time hanging out with Knightro!
