Introduction of HIV-1 capsid and AIDS
The major focus of this lab is to apply and develop NMR techniques to characterize material properties. Specifically the research activities involve the following directions:
- The electronic and magnetic properties of metallic nano particles utilized in catalysis.
- Self assembly of biomolecules, such as the capsid proteins of viruses, or prions.
- The structures and dynamics of Antimicrobial Peptides.
In addition, we are exploring innovative modelling methods to simulate the self-assembling action of biomolecules.
