Introduction of HIV-1 capsid and AIDS

The major focus of this lab is to apply and develop NMR techniques to characterize material properties. Specifically the research activities involve the following directions:

  1. The electronic and magnetic properties of metallic nano particles utilized in catalysis.
  2. Self assembly of biomolecules, such as the capsid proteins of viruses, or prions.
  3. The structures and dynamics of Antimicrobial Peptides.

In addition, we are exploring innovative modelling methods to simulate the self-assembling action of biomolecules.
