UCF College of Medicine grant for new intervention study

UntitledThanks to a grant from the College of Medicine, the AD&D Lab will be collaborating with Dr. Daniel Paulson’s Orlando Later-Life Developmental Research Lab on a project examining  the effectiveness of a new caregiver support group intervention. The project aims to reduce the burden associated with dementia caregiving, better understand how stress hormones relate to caregiver burden, and delay the transition of older adults with dementia to long-term care facilities. This project also involves collaboration with Dr. Cerissa Blaney (Clinical Psych) and Dr. Kimi Sugaya (Biomedical Sciences).
