Resources for Researchers

The TRT program is here to express our condolences and offer support as the hospitality industry recovers from the effects of COVID-19. We have compiled the following resources in the hope that it may be helpful to you and your family during this challenging time.

COVID-19 Resources Regional Studies Association Includes evidence regarding how regions, cities, and the hospitality industry are dealing with the impact of the coronavirus. Current research, publications, and research ideas about regional responses are shared.
NIOSH Extramural Centers’ COVID-19 Response University of Illinois Chicago, School of Public Health This resource compiles and shares data pertaining to responses to COVID-19 including the development of COVID-19 related tools, activities, research, and training. Many of these resources are made available via this website, and opportunities are provided in order to collaborate on research projects and have questions answered.
COVID-19 Resources CONVERGE CONVERGE is a National Science Foundation funded initiative directed toward advancing social science, engineering, and interdisciplinary research as well as strengthening networks between disciplinary communities. This website allows you to search for participating schools in your area.
Interventions for Online Therapy with Youth Guidance Teletherapy Family Counseling This source provides links to a series of fun activities and resources for your kids and teens, as well as information for parents desiring to get their kids involved in teletherapy.
Over 30 Virtual Field Trips This source provides links to virtual tours that you and your kids can take—including zoos, museums, and even Mars! Many of these links also include activities for your kids to complete.
Free Resources for Families & Teachers Florida Department of Education A thorough list of free resources for all subjects from K-12, as well as at-home learning. Includes resources in Spanish and for English Language Learners.
