If you want to make an impact on a new member as they navigate the workings of the Actuarial Science Club and learn about what it takes to be an actuary, be a mentor for the club’s new mentorship program! This is a great way to be there for new members as they adjust to the club and the statistics or actuarial science major. As a mentor, you would be expected to help your mentee with any concerns they may have. You don’t have to know the answer to every single question; simply guiding them in the right direction is sufficient! To be a mentor, you must meet the following requirements:
- Have been an active member of the Actuarial Science Club for at least one full year
- Must be graduating no earlier than Spring 2021
- Must be knowledgeable about your major (Statistics, Actuarial Science, Math, Computer Science, etc.)
