I routinely employ UCF undergraduates to work in my laboratory as volunteers, paid employees, independent studies, and honors research students. Working in a laboratory, gaining applied research skills, and interacting with faculty and graduate students are invaluable experiences for undergraduates, regardless of your future career goals.
If you have an interest in the intersection of chemistry and biology in the natural world, don’t mind getting dirty, are self-motivated, and have a strong attention to detail, the ABL may be the place for you.
Interested UCF undergraduates are encouraged to complete the following on-line survey detailing your background and interests:
ABL Undergraduate Research Survey
Completing this survey will help me assess who is the best fit for my current and future research needs. I also encourage you to visit the Office of Undergraduate Research website, especially the Undergraduate Research Position Database, where faculty and graduate students are continually posting new opportunities in a variety of disciplines.
