Ant-infecting Ophiocordyceps genomes reveal a high diversity of potential behavioral manipulation genes and a possible major role for enterotoxins

Front page of a scientific report titled "Ant-infecting Ophiocordyceps genomes reveal a high diversity of potential behavioral manipulation genes and a possible major role for enterotoxins.

Check out our newest publication in Scientific Reports! We have sequenced and annotated five new Ophiocordyceps genomes, which we compare to look for genome signatures that indicate which genes are unique for these ant-infecting fungi and, thus, might be involved in behavioral manipulation.
