We are pleased to announce that the “CBMS Conference: Interface of Mathematical Biology and Linear Algebra” will be held at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL on May 23-27, 2022. The CBMS conference features ten main lectures co-delivered by principle lecturers: Pauline van den Driessche (University of Victoria), Stephen Kirkland (University of Manitoba), and Mark Lewis (University of Alberta).
SIAM Knights Conference
The inaugural SIAM Knights Conference is going to be held at the UCF campus on Friday, May 17th, 2019. This is the first official activity of our student chapter of SIAM at UCF.
The theme of the inaugural conference is on mathematical biology and modeling. It features two keynote lectures:
– Dr. Pauline van den Driessche, SIAM Fellow and Professor of Mathematics, University of Victoria, Canada
– Dr. Chinwendu Enyioha, Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Central Florida
All other talks in the conference will be given by graduate and undergraduate students at the UCF or nearby institutions. A poster session can also be arranged if necessary.
