UCF researchers combat problems with military vehicle identification

Florian Jentsch, TPL’s director and associate professor of psychology, said the research is part of a five-year project called the Collaborative Technology Alliance in robotics, funded and directed by the Army Research Laboratory.

A major part of this research involves running missions with human-robot teams at TPL’s Military Operations on Urban Terrain facility, home to an intricate, miniaturized Iraqi landscape where test subjects operate robotic ground vehicles outfitted with multiple cameras.
