Alum publishes first book

Shannon O’Donnell, ’06, published her first book, The Volunteer Traveler’s Handbook. 

The book shares stories, advice and photography that will help anyone interested in international volunteer opportunities find and vet ethical volunteer experiences. O’Donnell left the United States in 2008 and has traveled around the world for the past four years traveling slowly and integrating service and community development into her work and travel.
