“Style My App”, Interactive App Creation Contest

Calling all tech gurus, gamers, programmers and computer junkies. An outstanding portfolio building opportunity awaits you!

Glamorize your inner geek!  Orlando Style Magazine, Central Florida’s premiere luxury lifestyle magazine and a component of Style Magazines, is offering tech savvy students from UCF and Full Sail, the chance to develop a unique, interactive app for the magazine.  At the end of the contest, one lucky contestant’s design will be chosen as the official Orlando Style Magazine ‘app’.  (Building platforms/s will be discussed with the applicants.)

All contestants will be automatically featured in Orlando Style Magazine, reaching over 200,000 readers (including pass-along readership).  The top three finalists will receive a personalized letter of recommendation and awarded a stylish O Style plaque.  The Grand Prize winner will receive all of the above, special recognition in Orlando Style Magazine and Orlando Style’s “NewsToMe” e-blast, plus a full year membership at LA Fitness and some other goodies.

Contestants will be given from April 1, 2013 to April 30, 2013 to design the ‘app’.

Supplies, content materials and detailed information about building platforms, etc. will be provided to all contestants.

Submit ‘app’ designs to Orlando Style: info@StyleToMe.com no later than 4pm on April 30, 2013.

Finalists will be contacted mid-May, 2013 and the winner is to be announced with the launch of the application early June 2013
