A Colloquium with Jeffrey Bennett, Ph.D. on Nov. 4

On November 4 from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. Jeffrey Bennett will explain how the similarities in childhood and adult learning lead to a number of basic principles educators can apply to teaching science at the college level. Bennett will draw from educational research and personal experience for his presentation that will cover specific examples of difficulties college students have with science and strategies educators can use to overcome them.

The presentation will take place in the College of Sciences Building (CSB) in room 221 and is open to all UCF faculty and graduate students in all sciences.
