Alum shows entrepreneurial spirit
Gabby Shayne, ’06, was born into a whisky family. She began her career at The Scotch Malt Whisky Society of America after graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2006. Shayne’s parents founded the U.S. branch of the Society in 1993, and she currently co-manages the exclusive private membership club with her sister, Lauren Mayer.
Gabby joins Keeping Up with Gen Y to talk about how young entrepreneurs can successfully walk the line between emotion and enterprise when stepping into their family-owned business.
